What is a security deposit?
The security deposit is a fixed fee that you pay before you pickup the machine(s). It will be returned to you after the rental if the machine is returned in the same condition as it was picked up and working.
Can you send machines?
Yes we send smaller machines in Portugal, however, we require extra identification documents when sending machines, for example a copy of your identification document or a proof of address from a water/gas/electricity bill.
We will send the machine to you a few days before your rental period start, the transportation days are free of charge.
You only pay for the days you use the machine.
You must send back the machine the day after your rental time.
We will send a return label with the package so you just pack everything, close the box and put the return label on it and send it back.
Can you invoice me or my company?
Yes, we will invoice the person that the account is registered on, you can enter your NIF in your profile and we will use it for the invoice.
What happens if the machine is broken?
You can get another machine if there is a similar one available, if there is no you will get a refund for the days when you cannot use the machine.
Where can I pickup and return machines?
At the moment we have a location in Zambujal, Mafra where you can pickup and return machines but we want to expand to more locations.
About us
Rent and Fix is a part of Data Harbour IT (NIPC: 515842982) which was founded in 2020.
It’s a family-owned IT-company but we started our first company in 2007 (that is still active).
Rent and Fix was started from our own desire to get the right tools for the job, we love to renovate and decorate but we didn’t find any good places to rent the machines, so we started our own.
For 18+ years we’ve been providing services to customers and our main focus is to help you with anything you need.
Our dream is for everyone to be able to rent from us, welcome!
